Take Me Out to the Inaugural Ball!
January 20, 2009

My eyes and ears perked up when Fereshta walked into The Wardrobe last Friday night. New to Davis, Fereshta just finished helping with the Obama campaign and needed a gown to attend the Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C. Given a choice between attending the inauguration or the ball, the answer was clear...shall we dance?

Even if it was six degrees, somehow I feel like I got a little taste of history.

What exciting times we are living in!

Unveiling of New Mosaic Sculpture in Central Park Gardens
October 1, 2008

The Wardrobe has spent 20 years growing up with the city of Davis. As a sign of our appreciation not only for the arts and beauty, but for the community as well, we are proud to be a co-sponsorer of a new ceramic mosaic sculpture in the Rose and Flower Garden at Central Park. Mosaic artist Mark Rivera has designed the piece to feature exquisite, hand-sculpted hummingbirds and butterflies visiting garden flowers. This sculpture is bound to be a captivating addition to the garden.
