The Wardrobe, in conjunction with Davis' Downtown Art About, presents "Sculpted Adornments" on Friday, June 12th, from 7-9 PM.

    Julie Didion is a sculptor who lives and works in Sacramento, California. She will be making a cameo appearance at the beginning of the evening. Didion's expressionistic shoe and purse sculptures rose out of her work as buyer for a shoe company. She has been creating in clay for nearly 20 years and configures shapes that are delightfully articulate and expressive, revealing imaginative and lighthearted interpretations of ladies' bags and shoes. Her delicate manner demonstrates painstaking and meticulous sculpting with ideas that are both perky and dreamy.
